About Me

I’m a digital publisher and small business owner based in Guttenberg, New Jersey. After graduating from Baruch College, I spent the last three years building KartiKart.com, a minimalist jewelry brand that donates 5% of every sale to fighting human trafficking.

Along the way, I discovered a passion for building niche information sites that help people navigate topics that are often confusing, full of jargon, or buried behind paywalls. That passion turned into a growing network of free resource sites — each focused on a specific topic where I felt everyday people deserved better, more transparent information.

My approach is simple: research deeply, present clearly, and never charge for information that should be freely accessible.

Building Wills Probate Guide

I started Wills Probate Guide because almost everyone who deals with an estate — either planning their own or settling a loved one’s — asks the same questions, and there was no single place that answered them with real, state-specific law, written for normal people instead of selling them something. When you’re planning ahead you want to know: do I need a will or a trust, how much does it cost, what happens to my kids. When you’ve just lost someone you want to know: how long does probate take, how much will it cost, what happens if there’s no will, do we owe estate tax. The only options online were confusing court PDFs, single-state law firm pages trying to sign you as a client, will-product companies pushing their own service, or federal-only calculators that ignored your state. I built this site to be the family-first authority on wills and probate: every state gets guides with the exact probate cost and timeline, the exact small-estate threshold, the exact intestate shares, the real estate-tax rules, and how to make a valid will — all in plain English, with free tools and no signup required. And on the pages for people who just lost someone, there’s no sales pitch — just the law, court self-help, and free legal aid. If you’re planning ahead or settling an estate and need to know where you stand before you do anything, this is the resource I wish existed.
